Over at Marko’s blog he posted a great discussion on Junior High Worship.
To be honest our worship times in junior high ministry have not been my favorite times in ministry. Some of the comments that really resonate with me in this discussion are the following.
1. Limit your song selection of about a dozen for the year.
2. Try to teach students during worship without being condescending.
3. Change things up in worship and teach them that worship doesn’t alway include singing.
4. Allow freedom for the students to experience Jesus in their own way during worship times.
