40 Years of Mr. Rogers

Today is the 40th anniversary of “Mr Roger’s Neighborhood”.  Fred Rogers is a personal hero of mind.  I have a picture of him hanging in my office.  I love the simplicy of his message that has been so powerfully communicated by this man of God.

Getting more Rest

Having the big V has inspired me to get more rest in my life. During the recovery time I got a lot of extra sleep. Two nights ago I went to bed at 8:00pm and last night I went to bed at 8:30pm. However, I woke up at 10:30 to watch Leno and Conan. I got such a kick out of watching Conan “waste time” by spinning his wedding ring. Funny stuff.

Going to sleep early also takes the temptation away from snacking after 8. I am looking forward to being able to exercise when I feel a better, which is soon I hope.

Top 100 Shows of All Time?

Time came out with this list of the “TOP 100 TV SHOWS of All-time”. This list is completely bunk! Where in the heck is “The Andy Griffith Show”? I also am wondering where “The Wonder Years” is? No pun intended.

Square Dancing on TV

Today on local access I caught a show call “Friendship Set to Music”. It was basically a local access show of a bunch of people square dancing. I’m not quite sure why, but this show was strangely entertaining. Even better than Bandwagon.
